How it works
Upload or paste
Add your resume as PDF or Word, and paste the job post you want. The job post makes the keyword match much sharper.
Get your ATS score
A score out of 100 with the reasons: contact details, standard headings, job keywords, results with numbers, and length.
Get a rewritten resume
A clean one-column version with stronger bullet points, using only your real facts. Edit any line on the page.
Download and apply
Download as PDF or Word, plus a matching cover letter you can edit and copy.
What you see
Keywords you are missing
See which skills from the job post are in your resume and which are not.
Problems an ATS trips on
Missing email or headings, icons and symbols, no numbers in your results, too long or too short.
Before and after score
Your original score next to the score of the rewritten version, part by part.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Every Data Trailhouse account gets 3 resume checks a day at no cost. You only need a free account so we can save your results for you.
Which files can I upload?
PDF and Word (.docx) files, or you can paste the text. Scanned PDFs (photos of a page) have no text to read, so export your resume again from Word or Google Docs.
Will the AI make things up?
No. It only uses facts from your resume. When a line would be stronger with a number you did not give, it writes a placeholder like [X%] in yellow so you fill in the real value.
What is an ATS?
An Applicant Tracking System is the software most companies use to collect applications. It reads your resume as plain text and ranks it against the job. Fancy layouts, tables, icons and missing keywords can push a good candidate down the list.
What happens to my resume?
Your file is read inside your browser; only the text is sent to be checked by an AI model on Cloudflare. We do not store your original resume. We keep your last 5 results so you can reopen them, and you can delete them at any time.
Does a high score guarantee interviews?
No tool can promise that. A clean, keyword-matched resume gets read by more humans, but your experience, projects and how well you fit the role still decide.
